The Microbiology department at Southern Diagnostic Laboratories offers a wide variety of testing options, with an emphasis on cultures and sensitivities.
Our technical staff has extensive experience in the field and is adept at identifying and isolating potential pathogens from samples submitted for culture.
Once an organism is isolated, our staff uses our Biomerieux Vitek 2 or Siemens Microscan for precise species identification and antibiotic susceptibilities.
