The Anatomic Pathology department at Southern Diagnostic Laboratories is committed to fast, accurate results. Specimens are processed in our Birmingham, AL facility and slides are prepared by registered histotechnicians. Cases are then signed out by our on-site pathologists certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
As with other laboratory reports from Southern Diagnostic Laboratories, pathology and cytology reports can be sent directly to the requesting physician’s office via an electronic interface to further decrease time spent waiting for a result.
